Heartsaver AED Textbook
This is the student manual for the Heartsaver CPR & AED course. It is the updated manual based on the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and ECC. The manual provides updated content and new illustrations. It providers students with materials to review before the course, a workbook during the course and serves as a reference book for the student after the course.
The manual covers information on:
- single-rescuer and team basic life support skills
- emergency recognition
- adult, child, and infant rescue techniques
- high-quality CPR
- AED use
- relief of choking.
Included with the text is a 1 Adult CPR & AED Reminder card and 1 Child & Infant CPR & AED Reminder Card. The course textbook is required for all students attending any Heartsaver AED course.
